Ken Gill unearthed another good one when Omeath Entity showed his liking for field racing when defeating Unleashed Bond by 6 lengths.

The Brendan Gottschutzke owned Salami Thief took out the Derby Prelude in 15.39 and defeated Wot Price Agro by 3 lengths. has Lorenzo in good form for the upcoming when he posted the fastest time of the day in 15.04 in his second course, and finally defeated Kato in the final. The Damien Mills owned and Alisha Sutherland trained Black and Blue posted some handy times when winning the Juvenile/Maiden.

Our next meeting will be on Saturday/Sunday 17-18 September when the 2011 Waterloo Cup and Oaks and Derby will be conducted. Until the nominations are in, the Club is unable to say whether racing will be conducted on both Saturday and Sunday.

Nominations for these prestigious events are $20 per greyhound and close with at 9 am on Wednesday 14 September. Prizemoney is scheduled to be $3000 for the winner of the Waterloo Cup and $1800 to the winners of the Oaks and Derby – however, prizemoney is dependent upon the right number of nominations, 32 for the Cup and 16 each for the Derby and Oaks.

A Consolation and Purse is scheduled for those dogs run out the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Waterloo Cup. Come along, nominate your dog, enjoy the racing and hopefully, your dog's name will go down in the record books as the Winner.
