Shaun Matcott Does A Good Days Work

Everybody breathed a sigh of relief when the forecast didn’t come true for our meeting.

In fine, breezy but sunny conditions a small race program went off like clockwork.

led in a double with Zena Bale and Dyna Dilly winning their respective events. Michael Giniotis returned and Wot Price Curly duly saluted the judge for him.

, and Barry Jones went home happy when Mumma’s Passion, Claretown Jocka and Slipper’s Luck all earnt a winner’s cheque.

Time honours for the day went to Slipper’s Luck with a speedy 15.08.

Our next meeting is scheduled for 19 June with normal graded events.

July’s calendar is 3, 17 and 31 July with the Rising Star Stakes and Patrons Cup scheduled to be run on 17 July – further details will appear in Kennel Capers.
