Friday at Gawler shifted to a morning meet
GREYHOUND Racing South Australia (GRSA) is advising all participants that Gawler's Friday meeting scheduled for the afternoon has been shifted to a morning meet due to high temperatures.
This is the second meeting impacted this week due to excessive predicted tops with Saturday's non TAB meeting at Port Augusta abandoned entirely.
A statement from GRSA read: “With excessive heat forecast in the Gawler region on Friday 28th December 2018 the Gawler meeting scheduled for the Day time slot has been moved to the Morning slot starting at 10.02am local time with the last of 10 at 12.42pm. Kennelling times will be 8.45am to 9.30am.
“GRSA thanks the support of the Gawler Greyhound Racing Club and Sky Racing for this change.”
