Mister Twister wins 2017 Group 1 Peter Mosman Classic

stamped himself as the best greyhound in New South Wales when recording a stunning victory in Saturday night's Peter Mosman Classic (520m) at .

Sent to the traps as a $5.50 chance after a brilliant 29.66 semi-final victory the week prior, Mister Twister was swiftly away from box five and raced straight to the front with a slick 5.47 first sectional.

Hot on his heels down the back was race-favourite (box six) for , but swinging for home Mister Twister slipped into top gear, racing clear in the run to the line to score by two and three quarter lengths in 29.71.

Up Hill Jill lost no admirers when finishing second, the third time she has finished runner up at 1 level, whilst Chasin' Crackers (box one) ran a cheeky race to finish third for Glenn Rounds.

Trained by leading conditioner , the son of Collision and former NSW Double Twist, Mister Twister has now won 14 of his 32 starts with 12 minor placings.

Included in his wins was a strong success in the $100,000 Riches, whilst he has also finished second in the Group 1 Vic Peters Classic and the Group 3 .

The victory also took Mister Twister's career earnings beyond the $250,000 mark.
