NSW Stewards Adjourn Inquiry Due To Trainers Medical Condition
Greyhound Racing NSW Stewards have today adjourned an inquiry in to a positive swab in a greyhound trained by Warilla trainer Patrick Wood on the grounds of the trainers medical condition.
Patrick Wood of Warilla near Port Kembla was scheduled to appear at a stewards inquiry in to the positive finding of Caffeine and its metabolites after his greyhound Miss Alsted won at Nowra on 21st August 2011.
However that inquiry has now been adjourned to a date to be fixed after Wood provided a medical certificate New South Wales stewards detailing an inability to travel on medical grounds.
Notably Miss Alsted was scratched from her engagement at Goulburn last Saturday, but due to the lack of published stewards report for the meeting despite the fact it was over five days ago, the reasons behind that scratching are unknown.
