Board Continues To Ride Wave Of Success

owner trainer continued his hot week of success with Spring Bluegirl taking out the Branch Super Maiden (520m) at Kennerson Park on Monday (November 7).

The 29.80 win over Bush Slang and favourite Noble Rock, saw Board claim the feature maiden event for the second year running.

An alighted Board thanked the and local GBOTA branch for continuing to support young greyhounds in the region with the series.

The Orange based breeder, owner and trainer also congratulated all involved in the Club for the continuing volunteer efforts.

“I can't say enough about the people around here and the effort people put in, thank you to everyone,” Board said following the event.

Spring Bluegirl's all the way win came just two days after Greg and son Scott celebrated Spring Gun's Vic Peters Classic win.

Joint owners in the son of x Ready For Rain, the Board's were beside themselves on Saturday evening after Spring Gun was able to lead all the way and claim the $75,000 winner's cheque.

After discussions with trainer Christine Oldfield Spring Gun is now expected to make his way to Queensland to challenge for the Group 1 SKY Racing heats on November 24.

Meanwhile, Board will focus on a local campaign with Spring Bluegirl and kennelmate Spring Legacy with the forth coming RSL Soldier Saddle heats set to kick off on November 21.
