Today’s meeting at The Gardens is highlighted by four quality heats of the Swansea Hotel Series, for greyhounds that have won between two and six race, which has drawn together some extremely talented young chasers. Runners are hoping for a spot in next week’s final which will carry a first prize of $4,000.
In the opening heat (race two), the inform Rita Nicolaou kennel has recent Wentworth Park winner, Las Vegas (6) pitted against Opening Balance (2), winner of three of her past four and Darren Sultana’s unbeaten Fantasize (8).
