While Looks Like Lyn ran the fastest heat time, the owned and trained Stylish Daymo will probably start the nominal favourite for today's main event. The son of and Stylish Sal defeated a similar field including Macey and Looks Like Lyn, running slick time over the 400 metres circuit two starts ago.

The co-feature of today's meeting is race six, the , named in honour of a local greyhound legend. The Gardens race caller, John McDermott was a close friend of Dart's for over four decades, who passed away in March, 2008.

“We called Duncan ‘the legend'.” McDermott said “He knew everyone in racing and everyone loved him.”
