Federer’s Boy Takes Out The Casino Beef Week Cup

Federer's Boy continued on his giant killing ways when he took out an exciting RSM Club Beef Week Cup on Friday.

He was not in the market when he took out the Maiden series in February, but in only his second win since, he was able to beat some handy sprinters and grab the $3,000 cup purse.

He was well placed throughout, even though he started from box six, and railed through on the home bend to grab the lead. Trainer has always had a big opinion of this fellow, who ran a personal best time of 27.49 in scoring by a neck.

There were only five starters in the Casino RSM Club Free For All but what an exciting affair it was. The five dogs went as “one” to the first bend with no runner giving an inch. In the other events, Crystal Flute ran 23.33 after taking over at the first bend for Peter Simpson; Lorian's Horizon led all of the way in 27.98 for Faye Currey; Just Rose railed well throughout to run 27.88 for Tim Billin, and Dayseas Suzie won the distance race in 35.94 for .
