Gosford’s Metro Meeting Hailed A Success

Gosford CrowdSaturday June 28 saw metropolitan racing move to due to the refurbishment of the grandstand at the Glebe Circuit.

The hard working Gosford crew decided to do everything they could to make the night a success and they were rewarded for their efforts.

The report that the crowd was nothing short of with in excess of 600 people in attendance to witness the racing and to enjoy the entertainment provided by the Gosford Club.

The Gosford club orgainsed a band for the night for track attendees which was very well received and jumping castle for the little ones.

According to Gosford Club Secretary, Kevin Keyes; “bar and food sales were exceptional and both the bookmakers and the TAB reported strong turnover on the night”.

Gosford Club Secretary Kevin Keyes and staff worked long and hard to ensure the success of this Saturday night meeting at the popular Central Coast track and their efforts were justly rewarded with an outstandingly successful event.
