Late Night Racing To Hit Lismore Greyhounds
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has announced that a six week trial of late night racing will be conducted at Lismore from mid-January 2013.
The trial will be held over consecutive Saturday nights starting from 12 January 2013 and concluding on 16 February 2013.
The trial will be used to evaluate both participants' interest in the late night meetings as well as the wagering support they receive, which is critical to race fields revenue generated by the meetings.
Each of the late night meetings will have 10 races scheduled and will be run as standard Lismore TAB B meetings. The majority of the races on each program will be broadcast on Sky Racing 1.
The first race will start at around 9pm each week, with 15-20 minute intervals between races, meaning the last race will be run just prior to midnight.
GRNSW would like to thank Lismore City Council for allowing the trial to proceed and acknowledge the support and the cooperation of the NSW GBOTA and Sky Racing.
