Rapidvite Peter Mosman Classic Final Shaping Up Sensationally
New South Wales best young greyhounds have their sights set on the Group two Rapidvite Peter Mosman Classic Final next Saturday night after four heats were staged at Sydney's Wentworth Park tonight.
The on-course box draw has delivered an exciting final with any number of chances in the $25,000-to-the-winner event.
The Dave Irwin trained That's Just Me flew over the 520m in an amazing 29.90 and is the fastest qualifier.
New Divide trained by Ken Cheetham 30.08 and Neville Brown's Tuiaki 30.18 both recorded very smart times. The other heat winner was Cool Scooby 30.50.
Given the amount of rain the track has coped with over the past week these performances were outstanding.
That's Just Me will probably start favourite on the strength of the heat performance and early pace, but the race is far from a foregone conclusion with many other chances in what looks like a sensational final.
Rapidvite's Peter Bryce said he was delighted to support one of Australia's premier classic events, the Rapidvite Peter Mosman Classic.
“Rapidvite have a number of products that are particularly applicable to “pups” and supporting the GBOTA and this race is a good way of promoting the Rapidvite brand.” He said.
