Road Toll Takes His Toll On Peg Rose His At Casino Greyhounds

The best time of the day went to Darryl Armfield's Road Toll who ran 27.44. Peg Rose Hi led them early, but Road Toll rounded him in as they went to the back before going on to score by 2 1/2 lengths. Keep an eye on the third placegetter Nyngan, who made up many lengths.

The maiden went to Kulu Storm who ran 27.88 for trainer Bill Gilbert. After putting the writing on the wall with a second last week, she held them out from box one to retain the lead at the first bend.

The comment was made that it is unusual for a trained dog to be at better than 2/1 when it wins, but this was the case in the RSM Club Flying with .
