Wentworth Park Set For Epic Bob Payne Sprint Final
Wentworth Park is gearing up for a sensational night of racing at festivities, today, Saturday September 29.
On the eve of the Rugby League Grand Final, Wentworth Park will be holding its own celebrations with $2 entry, kids jumping castle, live entertainment and cake.
The night's festivities will recognise the 25th anniversary of Wentworth Park's reopening following the building of the venue's Grandstand.
With greyhound racing an institution at the venue, since its inception in 1939 by the National Coursing Association, millions have flowed through the gates. Now operated by the NSW Greyhound Breeders, Owners and Trainers Association the venue continues be an iconic part of the Inner West Landscape.
Tomorrow night's racing program will feature the Group 2 Multiquip Bob Payne Spring Sprint Final, which saw four outstanding heats last Saturday night.
The even nature of qualifiers will make for a thrilling final.
