Dashing Corsair Into The History Books As Triple National Championship Finalist
Queensland's favourite greyhound Dashing Corsair has written his name into the history books as the only greyhound to ever contest three AGRA National Championship Finals.
Dashing Corsair, trained by Dwyer and Desley Lennon, finished second in the State Distance Final to progress to the Group 1 Macro Meats National Distance Final to be held at the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club on Thursday 25th August.
Sporting champions rarely get the chance at a fairytale career finale. But destiny awaits Dashing Corsair at his home track, the Albion Park Raceway, for the final of the National Distance Championship.
If he can win the National Final he will also be the only greyhound in history to win both a National Sprint and National Distance Championship.
The Macro Meats National Sprint and Distance Championship Final night will be celebrated with music and entertainment, free race track entry, prizes and giveaways, Parade of Champions featuring stars such as Black Enforcer, Surf Lorian, Bogie Leigh, Token Jet, Fear Zafonic and Queen Lauryn.
