McCarthy’s Performer Set To Impress At Albion Park, Again

Rattle And Hum will have a bevy of punters cheering him home for the first leg of the Albion Park Quaddie jumping from box one after an impressive win last week.

The Terence McCarthy-trained dog stormed out of box six last Thursday night clocking in at a solid 30.31 ahead of consistent sprinter Bluey's Spirit.

Wearing the lucky red on Thursday night the bookies are sure to have him priced as favourite in the fourth grad Give Me Five at Stud 520m (race five) ahead of Bluey's Spirit (box four) and Gypsy Indigo in box five.

Gypsy Indigo, who is trained by Ray Burman, posted a blistering 30.18 in a fifth grade over the same distance last week and will be looking to replicate this top performance.

Other chances in this race will come from the far boxes with John Reimer's Heza Wild One in box seven, and consistent place-getter Sideways in box eight.

Jumping from box four this Thursday, Lucky Alive will not get an easy start with 's promising young performer Eskimo Dan drawing the lucky red box.

Strong Breeze, which hails from the Hazelgrove Park Ridge kennels, is expected to firm in the betting returning to the red box after recording a very strong 30.14 with a first sectional of 5.76.

The impeccably-bred black bitch, by Black Enforcer and out of Cyclone Chrissy, is sure to lead into the first turn and will be looking to extend the margin to ward off challengers including in box five, and Inflammable from box eight.

The following race (race seven) the fifth grade Winning Edge 520m will see Nikita Beriman have her second start back, and is expected to improve with the race fitness after finishing flat last week.

Jumping from box three should not be too much of a problem for the Kathie Evans-trained performer but will have to start solidly to keep Like The Look (box eight) behind her.

Distance racing at Albion Park again features a quality field with race one, over 710m, featuring several strong greyhounds.

Shadow Boxer should start short with the bookies, jumping from box seven, having had his first competitive run over 710m to finish second behind Lady Moscato two weeks ago.

The -trained dog is sure to be joined by who won impressively last week to win in his second start over the distance, clocking in at 42.50.

The third grade A-Team 600m (race nine) will also be one to watch, with proven middle distance runners, and Monarch's Merlot, going head to head from box one and two, respectively.
