SUREpick Ratings Pick A Winner With Publicans Cup
Racing form ratings service company SUREpick Ratings has signed as major sponsor of the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club's Publicans' Cup series.
The annual event features a number of Brisbane's and Queensland's Pubs sponsor a race on the night, with the sponsorship package including a draw of one greyhound in the Publicans' Cup final to represent them.
The Hotels who have sponsored the races are; the Gem Hotel, the Stafford Tavern, the Plainlands Hotel, the Landsborough Pub, Manly Hotel, Wynnum Manly Leagues Club and the Parkhurst Tavern.
SUREpick have signed as the major sponsor of the race, which includes a 12-month branding agreement with the Brisbane Club.
SUREpick Ratings has been involved with the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club for more than 12-months providing its services, and has decided to widen its brand within the Queensland capital.
SUREpick managing director Rick Karpin said it was a great opportunity to help spread the brand of the SUREpick service as well as give something back to the greyhound racing industry.
“SUREpick is a service for greyhound racing, and we have had a strong relationship with the Brisbane Club for a while now,” said Mr Karpin.
“We have a great following in New South Wales for both our SUREpick service for greyhounds, as well as our partnership with Rob Waterhouse Ratings, and we are now looking to expand our customer base in Queensland and this sponsorship not only helps us spread the word, but also gives something back to the local racing industry up there.”
Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club general manager Luke Gatehouse said the Club was very grateful of the sponsorship and its association with the service.
“SUREpick have now become a great attraction to Albion Park betting and has contributed to our on-course betting turnover increases,” said Mr Gatehouse.
“They (SUREpick) also deserve a major pat on the back for putting something back into the greyhound racing industry.”
SUREpick runs both corporate services on race tracks, Pubs and Clubs as well as individual memberships online.
Mr Karpin said they would be running a special promotion on Publicans' Cup night (September 17) including a Punters' Club.
“With each racebook we will be giving away free one month memberships to the service, as well as also running a Punters' Club, and we rarely lose.”
