Kelly To Face Inquiry Over Aha McBain and Magnum McBain Positives
On 13th October 2014 Mr Todd Kelly was informed that the greyhound AHA MCBAIN had shown the presence of 5β-ANDROSTANE-3α, 17β-DIOL from the urine sample taken at the Greyhound Racing SA race meeting held at Gawler on Sunday 14th September 2014, and that he would be advised of the date, time and place of an inquiry.
The reserve portion of the urine sample was tested and the presence of 5β-ANDROSTANE-3α, 17β-DIOL was confirmed.
Mr. Kelly is now required to be available for a steward's inquiry on Tuesday 11th November 2014 at 10.30am, together with any witnesses that may assist for an inquiry by the Stewards into the circumstances relating to the obtaining of the positive urine sample.
The inquiry in relation to the greyhound MAGNUM MCBAIN which was adjourned on 16 October 2014 will be conducted at the same inquiry.
As a result of this inquiry charges may be laid pursuant to GRSA Rules of Greyhound Racing.
He was further advised that if he does not attend this inquiry it may be held in his absence and charges may be laid pursuant to GRSA Rules of Greyhound Racing.
