Following evidence given at a recent GRSA Stewards inquiry, Greyhound Racing SA Stewards are opening an inquiry into alleged improper behaviour by Mr. Troy Murray at the Strathalbyn Greyhound race meeting conducted on Sunday 11th November 2012.
The inquiry will be conducted at the offices of Greyhound Racing SA on Thursday 20th December 2012 at 6.30pm.
No further information has yet been forthcoming but it is thought the inquiry is a follow on from a recent stewards inquiry which saw Paul Barry and Ray Murray disqualified over the incidents.
It is understood the incident did involve alcohol, abuse and a physical confrontation.
However Murray’s training career has not been without controversy. In 2006 he was suspended for 3 months and fined $2,000 for stealing at the Australian Greyhound Racing National Championships held in Launceston in September 2006.
