Radley Bale Early Favourite For 2012 Launceston Cup Final

Classy Victorian chaser Radley Bale has been installed favourite in early markets on the $57,000 (515 metres) to be conducted at the Tote Racing Centre on Monday night.

The only prepared chaser to make it through to the rich final, Radley Bale will run from the white box and is being quoted at $2.

On Monday night the son of Cool recorded the time of 29.91 in winning his heat from the blue box and no doubt will be improved by the experience.

The fastest qualifier on the night was the Graeme Moate prepared Shanlyn Hirdy, which sizzled around the circuit in the time of 29.69.

The son of Slater has drawn the green box in the final and is on the second line of betting as a $4.50 chance.

In a night of surprises on Monday night, Tasmanian champ Rewind failed to qualify for the Cup, when defeated in his heat by the prepared Lika Whisper.

Exeter trainer will be represented on Monday night by heat winner Classic Camdale, which will run from the pink box at a quote of $15.

The son of Collision recorded 29.90 in winning his heat and could prove to be the surprise packet in the rich final.

Last but certainly not least is the Max Auld prepared Max A Zillion, which gained a start on Monday night with the scratching of Au Revoir, but was still able to win his heat impressively in the time of 29.79.

The son of Bombastic Shiraz will start from the black box in the final and is third pick in the early market at odds of $8.
