Shepparton Greyhound Club Host Bushfire Appeal Concert Monday

Greyhound Racing Club has landed a major coup in their support for the Victorian Bushfire victims.

Steve Eales, one of the most popular and energetic live performers on the Australian country music scene, is going to be at the Shepparton Greyhound Racing Club's () race meeting with his guitar from 4.30pm Monday [16th Feb] and will have copies of his CD “The Battler” for .

Steve is donating half the sales of every CD sold at the track on Monday to the Shepparton GRC's fundraising effort for Greyhound 's Red Cross bushfire appeal. People can download Steve's song ‘My Country's Burning' by visiting www.steveeales.com.The cost is 99 cents per download and all funds are going to the appeal.

Furthermore the Shepparton GRC is currently running a raffle with the prize being a 2 night package for two adults at the Walkabout Motel in the Rutherglen Wine Country. The prize includes a 3 hour stretch limousine Winery tour, 2 nights accommodation with breakfasts, a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival and discounts at participating wineries in the Rutherglen district.

Tickets will be on sale from Saturday 14th February until Monday 23rd February by contacting Cynthia at the SGRC on 5831 5577 and the winner will be announced on course on Monday 23rd. Tickets are $5.00 each and all money raised from ticket sales goes to the bushfire appeal.
