Tuesday’s Warragul Meeting Transferred To Sale Due To Fires
The Warragul Greyhound Racing Club's race meeting scheduled for tomorrow night (Tuesday 10/2/09) has been transferred to the Sale Greyhound Racing Club.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is currently using the Warragul racing precinct as an operational centre during the bush fire crisis.
The race meeting will be treated as a non-penalty meeting as greyhounds have been graded based on their grades at Warragul.
The normal scratching process will apply, however trainers unable to fulfil their engagements will be permitted to scratch their greyhounds without penalty, upon application to Greyhound Racing Victoria's Stewards Department.
