dominated the heats of Series over the 490 metre trip on night at . Four of the eight chasers in the final are trained by Britton and she has the perfect chaser to win the race; Star . The daughter of Higher Earner – No Recall won her heat easily in a best of the night time of 27.36, which should earn her favouritism in the final depending on the box draw.

Sissoko and West On Hudson were the first chasers to earn their rugs in the Sandgroper final after finishing first and second in heat number one. Sissoko started as odds on favourite for trainer from box four. West On Hudson (box two) found the front of an even jumping field, with Sissoko only half a length behind him. The pair matched strides until Sissoko took the lead around the outside just past the 405 metre boxes. Premier Fun put in an eye-catching performance after finding himself in last position, coming home strongly to finish third. It was Sissoko pulling away with the victory in a personal best time of 27.47.

Linda Britton's kennels produced a quinella in the second heat of the night. Bekim Maxim, jumping from box eight came out last with kennel mate West On Raven. David Hobby's Kova Monelli hit the lead almost instantly, before checking with Cosmic Wild and ending up in last position. $2.30 favourite Bekim Maxim made the most of the trouble on the rails, childishly galloping around the outside of the field to snatch the lead from Cool Keeping. Bekim Maxim found himself eight lengths clear of the field at the 300 metre boxes, West On Raven made ground quickly in the closing stages to run second in a winning time of 27.81

The third heat saw the scratching of pre race favourite Magia; giving Christine Bennett's chaser Rilack Robin a run from box four wearing the red white and blue rug. Brad Yates' Freda Jagz was also scratched, providing Party Mayhem a start in the race jumping from the eight box. Fun Princess made every post a winner after flying out of the boxes and winning in 27.71 from box two. Kody Charles' Tyler Rocks stayed within a length of the leading Fun Princess, with the first reserve Party Mayhem making his way into third position. Tyler Rocks opted for the outside run, allowing Moon Liner to sneak into second place and into the final.

The best was saved for the last heat of the Sandgroper with Linda Britton's speedster Star Recall winning in an ultra impressive time of 27.36. Punters had their eyes on just two chasers, Star Recall ($1.80) and Where's The Fun ($3.90), with all other greyhounds double figure odds. Star Recall jumped straight to the lead from box four, gaining lengths on the field in a matter of seconds. The little black bitch sparkled past the winning post 7 lengths clear of David Hobby's Wreck Monelli.

The box draw for the Sandgroper final will be drawn on Tuesday afternoon.

Topping off a night of chasing for the Britton kennels, Hello Knocka continued his fine Mandurah form, beating a talented field made up of Te Amo, Powerhouse, Gomes and De Wade, in a slick 27.37.
