Jason Leonard-Scott Fined For Late Scratching

Report:

Stewards on the 28 August 2014 conducted an into the circumstances pertaining to the late scratching of the greyhound “Battle Flame” from the GRC meeting conducted on 25 August 2014.

Stewards heard evidence from registered trainer Mr. Jason Leonard-Scott.

After hearing the evidence, Stewards charged Mr. Leonard-Scott in breach of GAR 86(o) in that he failed to ensure that the greyhound “Battle Flame” was presented for an engagement at the Warragul Greyhound Racing Club meeting on 25 August 2014.

Mr. Leonard-Scott pleaded guilty to the charge.

Stewards found Mr. Leonard-Scott guilty as charged and fined him $150.00.
