The Gardens greyhound tips & Black Top Final preview | September 27
A Sensational night of greyhound action at The Gardens this Saturday night with the final of the
Group 2 Black Top being the highlight on the wonderful 12 race program.
The race is wide open with the scratching of the even money favourite Sooty Keeping, so who will add a Group 2 to their resume? All will be answered at about 9.28pm on Saturday night.
As always Australian Racing Greyhound will preview the big race and look over all the runners to try to find you multiple winners.
Group 2 Black Top Race 8: Ritza Kris (3)
Ritza Kris has only had eight career starts for six wins and she is still improving. She ran the fastest
1st section time of all the heats including that of Sooty Keeping. She has a moderate beginner
drawn below her which should give her some early room, and she loves to be close to the fence. If
she begins well, she will be in front for an awfully long way. Trio Of Clowns is the obvious danger but
can be risky at box rise. On times he cannot cross Ritza Kris but if he finds the front he will look
the winner. The value runner is False Witness who stormed home late and might get a nice run in
transit but needs luck. While Tracker and Zipping Chetty are rough exotic chances.

Race 3: Egyptian Queen (3)
Egyptian Queen has only had the three career starts for a win and two placings but is improving
with every run. She ran the best time of the day to win her maiden here last start and is perfectly
drawn with slow beginners either side of her. The way she won last week suggests a big future for
this girl and she should be beating this field.

Race 10: Stylish Robbo (6)
Stylish Robbo has been low flying at this venue before her last start failure. She is wonderfully
placed as one of only two free-for-all dogs in a field full of fourth graders. She has broken the
magical 11sec first section mark on seven occasions and has 19 wins and 10 placings here over
this trip. The key to all these 400m races is the start and if she can begin well and break the 11sec
mark again for the first section she will be celebrating her 20th win here on the track.
