Wide open affair to kick off the night but if Aston Wingard can step on terms he should have the speed to cross at the first turn. He isn't overly strong but he has won four of five over this trip and he tends to break up the field with his lightning mid-race pace.

Lochinvar Akira returned to her brilliant best with a blistering 29.77 win here last week and tonight she exits the same draw. My only concern with her tonight is that there is a lot more early speed drawn underneath tonight so she may get posted wide at the first bend.

Young Gun Mcbain has the good draw and he has a top record here, he has the speed to hold them out and if Aston Wingard misses away he may getaway mid race.

My Party is flying at present and if he gains a clear run early he will be right in the mix.

Long Gully Mark is in career best form and with a wide runner drawn on his outside he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn, he can be a little slow to begin but he does muster speed quickly and he should settle in the first half of the field.

Red Can is hard to follow but he has a heap of talent. He will be looking to get wide early but if he can avoid early bother and settle mid field he may just swoop over the top of them late in the race.

King Chaos resumed from a spell with a slick 22.27 win here over 388m and he is drawn to lead for a long way, however the last 50m is a big query with him.

Master Bekim could be the value in the event, he turned in a strong effort when placed here on Monday and he will be running home strongly again.

Luna Jinx is a classy stayer and she should make up for her luckless effort here last week. After beginning well she was pushed wide at the second turn and she lost her momentum. From the red tonight she should be able to boot through and hold them out and if she finds the bunny tonight I can't see them running her down.

Psychotic Gold is aiming for a hat trick of wins and she was super impressive in her win here last week. The small field should suit her and if she can land behind Luna Jinx it should be an almighty battle to the line.

Gizmo The Great is a former QLD chaser who has a heap of talent but he doesn't always show it.

Zara Mclaren is the only other place hope, she has won two of her past three and she has a great record over this track and trip

Destiny Bale recorded an impressive 30.20 win here two runs back and she went even quicker when placed here last week. From the rails draw she should have sufficient speed to hold them out early and she will prove hard to reel in running around the 30 flat mark on the bunny.

Fast Noodle is former QLD chaser and he is blessed with explosive speed when fit. He hasn't raced for three months after hitting the deck at but he is in good hands and he is expected to turn in a bold showing fresh.

Asuka Bale has the good draw and she will be strong in the run home, I dont think she is good enough to win but she should sneak home into a place.

Spring Tyson is the interesting runner, she has been struggling of late but she can show explosive early speed and she is a different chaser when on the bunny.

Black Daddy is well placed in the pink draw and he is due for a change of luck. He isn't brilliant early but there is very little speed drawn underneath him so he should get a fairly clear passage in the run to the first turn. He has won over the 600m journey here in slick time and this really looks his race.

See Him First is a former classy Victorian chaser and he is now a member of the powerful Jovanovic kennel. He hasn't raced for nearly a month but outside of the pink this is quite a weak race so he doesn't need to be 100% fit to feature.

Hot Sauce flew around the short course here recently in 22.33 and he should lead for a long way, his last 70m is a worry but he might be able to hold on for a place.

Rum Punch is another who won over the short course recently and he should be a little stronger in the run home.

Cash In Looper has the good draw and he has been desperately unlucky in his two recent placings here. Tonight he has a wide runner on his outside and slow beginners drawn on either side, so if he can step away on terms he should be able to drive through into a prominent position at the first turn.

Freesia Bale has been racing in consistent style with four placings from her five SA runs and amazingly they have been over three different distances. She should have the speed to settle in a forward spot and I would expect her to take home some of the money.

Zac Bale has the perfect draw and he should run a big race, I think he will get burnt off early but he should be running home into a place.

Woodside Jagger and Good Odds Punk round out the place chances, they race well here and both have enough speed to lead.

Excusez Moi was knocked over at a crucial stage here last week and tonight she should be able to make amends. Since coming to SA she has turned in four very solid performances and with a slow beginner on her outside tonight I can see her finding the early lead and proving hard to run down.

Elay Galaxy made an impressive debut here last week with a strong 30.25 win and he looked a little lost through the turns so I would expect him to find a length or two on that run.

Set The Scene is a beast when he is switched on and he should be suited to the wide draw, he can make a lot of mistakes in his races but he is capable of reeling off breathtaking times when given a clear run.

Allen Nemo is the only other winning prospect, he is a strong type and he returned to form last time with a win over 600m.

Great race with a number of chances and I've decided to go with the speedy and in form Gun Mcbain. He is flying at present and with the seven being a fast beginner and desperate railer, he appears drawn to get a beautiful cart across and that should allow him to find the early lead. He was never really strong in his races, however in the past month or so he has really been finding the line well.

Van Carrho Flash is hit or miss early but he tends to step well from wide draws and if he can get away cleanly he will have sufficient speed to cross them early, he will need to lead to win but he is likely to be value and he may be worth a bet.

Dyna Vank turned in a great performance when placed here last week and he should run a big race again.

Alderley Reform has a great record here and he is all class, the box draw is a big concern but he is good enough to overcome difficulties in running.

Grifter Bale has the perfect draw and with a clear run early he should blow them away. He has won over this track and trip from the draw and he tends to show a lot more early zip from wider draws, he turned in a massive effort here on Monday after he was polaxed at the start and he really looks the goods in this event.

He's A Villian has the good draw and he was far from disgraced when placed over this trip three runs back, from the red he should be able to settle in the top three early and he is quite strong in the run home.

Beach Wary has the class edge and he flew around the 515m journey last week when posting a sizzling 29.71. The box draw is against him tonight but if he happens to ping they won't know which way he went.

Victa Scott can show early speed and he rounds out the chances, I dont think he can win but he can hold on for a place.

Tough race but I think the early speed of Stately Kay will play a big factor. On Monday he pounced on the early lead and he plugged on quite well when narrowly beaten by Bianca Bale. Tonight's race features no early speed at all so he should get a cheap lead and he will give them something to catch.

Keller Bale scored two strong wins here recently and he should be there at the end tonight. He is going to need some luck in running but if he gets it he could be the value in the event.

Parsec Bale is a promising type and she must be respected, I would prefer her from a wider draw but from the red she may be able to push through into a more prominent position early.

Oran Bale is the only other winning hope, she is armed with a monster finish and she has been racing in good company of late.

Another difficult race but I think Necro Bale looks well placed and I'm expecting him to burn them off early and score. Two starts back he showed smart early speed before being narrowly beaten by the talented Getty Bale, if he can turn in a similar effort tonight he should prove hard to reel in.

Nikita Kahn caught the eye with an impressive all the way win here in 30.09 last time and if she steps cleanly from the red she should take some catching. Her win last time was a big improvement from her previous form so I need to see her again to be convinced about her true ability.

Irish Midge rarely wins but she is never far away, she has been placed in 16 of 24 here and she could be a great anchor for second and third in your exotic bets.

Bianca Bale rounds out the hopes, she has the speed to cross and if she does she will prove hard to hold out.
