Greyhound Tips For Tuesday 16th April 2013

Another total blackout last night, I counted 6 who won over $20.00; some as high as $56.00! It was near impossible to find a winner. If you managed to collect well done. We're back to have another go again today hopefully we can get back in front.

Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 1 Seize The Bomb, 4.02pm

431m maiden race and the prepared runner will be mighty hard to beat. The daughter of the best talented Seize The Moment look extremely green when running third in her first start back in November. She drops back in distance here to the 431 from her first start which was over 520. She should have no trouble winning this against a maiden field that appears to have very few winning chances. She's going to start short once again but we need a winner and she should be able to do to here for us.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 11 Box 8, Niamh Premier, 3.27pm

This race appears to be a two dog race with Niamh Premier and Jet Blast. Niamh Premier has drawn the right box and she has plenty of early toe. She has posted a quick 30.05 here and won well last start from box 6. She should improve from that effort and with a clean start and good jump she will be tough to beat.

Devonport Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 3, Chicka Scott, 1.54pm

Chicka Scott get his best chance to win another one here. He has a big motor but certainly has problems focusing and doesn't always apply himself. 1 out I have no doubt he's easily the quickest dog in this field. He meets a very ordinary field, and he's quite capable of easily running a sub 26.00 run. But the question will be wether he focuse's and turns up to win. Make sure you get about $4.00 before having a go.

Lismore Greyhounds Race 1 Box 8 6.41pm

Mrs.Thursday is not a selection to win, rather a lay bet. It's well known how fast this bitch is but let me tell you, slow beginners are bad betting propositions. There's absolutely no doubt 1 out she will trounce these and maybe run a near record. But from box 8 and the fact she begins really slow, makes her a fantastic lay bet. I don't think she can win this and her performances in the last couple have been very ordinary. Wait until she steps up in trip before backing her. She will once again start a favourite, but I suggest laying her and backing something else.

Warragul Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 4 Real Vain, 8.09pm

Another two dog race with Knockin' Nowhere and Real Vain the two standouts. I'm going with Real Vain, and the son of is in fantastic form, winning his last 4 in a row. He has no trouble handling box 4 and he has won more races from this box than any other. He's a quick beginner and certainly one on the up. Knockin' Nowhere takes a few strides to get going, and this should allow Real Vain to an early lead and win.

Best of Luck
