Rockhampton plays host to 10 greyhound races this Wednesday night, and ARG has you covered with best bets and free quaddie tips for the evening.
BEST BET: Zip Stream (Race 8)
Zip Stream (box 4) looks the best bet on tonight's card, in the Rockhampton Young Guns Final. Leading local trainer Ken Boody has four greyhounds qualified in this race. Zip Stream looks his best winning chance. She has good early speed to offset this middle draw, has a slow beginner drawn inside and a vacant box directly outside tonight. Looks the early leader and the winner. Last start, on May 10 at Townsville, she led all the way at from box one when a long odds-on favourite, clocking a best-of-night 28.75 seconds over 498m. The previous three starts, she qualified for the Rockhampton Cup final by winning a Rockhampton Wildcard heat on April 6, then won the Wildcard final on April 13, then finished third behind Dulceria in the Rockhampton Cup after leading from box five.
NEXT BEST BET: Jackie Dee (Race 10)
We will need to be patient and wait until the last race tonight. Hopefully, we will be cashed up already and able to play up some of the winnings here. The Christine Pollard-trained Jackie Dee (box 4) should be good each-way value. On paper, the form may not read well with three unplaced runs next to her name, but those runs have not been bad. Her individual times will back up this statement. She has been running in stronger-class races and drops back to a masters race tonight. The Neville Jackson-trained Scandalise (box 3) looks the main danger, but if that dog can cross the two inside greyhounds early, it should give Jackie Dee a good cart across from her middle draw. If so, we can't see her missing the place, and she may well run down Scandalise and win.

BEST VALUE BET: Power By (Race 3)
The Juanita Thompson-trained Power By (box 5) looks the next best bet for the night. Juanita is wife to local trainer Clinton Thompson and has recently returned to the greyhound trainer ranks. This daughter of Kinloch Brae is making her Rockhampton debut tonight and has a tricky middle draw, but this race looks devoid of good early speed. She is currently in good form, winning her last two starts at Capalaba on the grass track while clocking good times. We can see her contesting the early lead tonight and being hard to beat. The main danger looks to be Foxy One (box 1) for Ken Boody. Looks well boxed tonight but will need to begin well and hold an early position.
