Wentworth Park Saturday greyhound tips | November 4, 2023

This Saturday night has Wentworth Park playing host to 10 sensational greyhound races from 6:30pm local time. A top-quality non-graded race headlines the card, but there are lots of exciting events lined up and lots of winners to be found. Hopefully, Australian Racing Greyhound can help you find a few.
Race 8: Bandit Dan (2)
This boy is three from three early in his career and finds a beautiful restricted-class race to make his Wentworth Park debut in. His three runs include two at Temora and one at Dapto, and he has handled himself well on each occasion. He hasn’t set the clock alight, but with a slow beginner under him and a vacant box outside of him, there is no reason Bandit Dan won’t accelerate to the front early and run them ragged.
Race 1: Fantastic Spike (4)
This dog has an imposing record of 10 starts for six wins and three minors. The only blemish was here back in early August, which is a minor cause for concern, but he has been flying on the bigger one-turn circuits of late, running best of the day in his last start at Maitland. He is not horribly drawn in the middle of the track, as the dogs either side are risky beginners, and if he gets enough room to wind up early, Fantastic Spike will appreciate the full 520m in this race.

Race 2: Officer Rod (1)
This boy has been flying for his new kennel since coming across from WA, posting two wins and two minors in four NSW starts. He has a good early turn of pace that will allow him to hunt along the fence for an early lead in this race. He won his only prior start from box one, and he put away a good field in good time at Richmond last Sunday. With the beaten Goulburn Cup favourite drawn immediately outside him, Officer Rod could start at decent odds.
