Matchups drawn for Eastar Match Race series at Angle Park
Angle Park’s 2023 Eastar Match Race series will race again this Thursday, April 6, over the 512m trip.
As in keeping with other years greyhounds will compete head-to-head for prizemoney ranging between $3,000 and $4,500, while the overall fastest winner will collect an extra $6,000.
The fastest second and third greyhounds overall will earn $2,500 and $1,500 respectively.
The box draw for the fastest eligible local greyhounds was conducted at Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) this morning.
The Eastar Match Race series will officially be listed with greyhound betting sites as race three on the Angle Park Thursday night program.
The first head-to-head match race due to start at 6.58pm SA time (7:28 AEST), match race two at 7.07pm, match race three at 7.19pm and match race four at 7.27pm.
In each and every match race the greyhounds will come out of boxes one and three.

Due to the restrictions around the Tabcorp betting system, the match race series will be listed as a single race on the Angle Park card, with each pair of greyhounds to meet head-to-head.
