Kia Kaha’s box five magic continues in Ipswich Rising Stars win
Ipswich's up-and-coming talent, Kia Kaha, continues to dominate from Box Five.
This special greyhound has shown a preference for box five, securing an impressive eight wins out of 10 races when starting from that box.
Kia Kaha's recent win occurred on Saturday night at Ipswich, where she displayed her skills by leading the race from start to finish and winning the Listed Rising Stars final over 520m paying $5 with the top greyhound bookmakers.

This achievement adds to her track record of 12 wins and 11 placings in 25 career races, earning over $101,000 in prize money.
Despite recognising Kia Kahas talent, Nicholls can't help but be amazed by her success in box five.
“It's as if she knows it's her spot,” he comments.
“She truly excels when she starts from box five.”
However, Nicholls faced a challenge on Saturday night as he had commitments in Sydney to handle Postman's Lass and Hidden Assassin, both of whom unfortunately didn't perform as expected at Wentworth Park.
Fortunately, Nicholls was able to rely on his wife Tracey to lead Kia Kaha to victory, at Ipswich, saving him from a journey home.
Kia Kaha is now setting its sights on the highly regarded Ipswich Auction series, an event with a $100,000 prize awaiting the winner.
Nicholls is well aware of the competition, especially from a Sydney based dog that impressed with a 30.17 trial run in preparation for the series.
Despite the challenges, Nicholls maintains his confidence in Kia Kahas skills.
He praises her start out of the gates noting that she has only missed it twice in her career.
On another note Sally Evans, Kia Kaha's owner is excited about witnessing her greyhounds continued success.
Nicholls also shared some news about former star Days Of Thunder who recently had her litter of pups sired by Hooked On Scotch.
