The son of Aston Rupee and Dancin’ Ethics was far too strong for the opposition, crossing the line three lengths ahead of kennelmate Slick Felix, with Innovation finishing third.
It was another statement victory as he builds momentum towards the Group 2 Bulli Gold Cup heats on Sunday, February 9.
Slick Badger’s remarkable rise has been nothing short of sensational, with six wins in his last six starts, all in dominant fashion. He has thrived under Pulbrook’s guidance, showing rapid improvement with each performance.
The young sprinter exploded from the outside draw, putting the race to bed early with lightning acceleration before powering away late. His impressive winning streak has seen him notch up victories at both Maitland and Bulli, showcasing his versatility and raw speed.
