Dapto Dogs betting tips & quaddie picks | Thursday, November 16
With that massive thunderstorm that smashed Sydney and surrounds last Thursday afternoon, the Dapto greyhound meeting could not go ahead last week and so we reset and try again this Thursday night. A dozen of Dapto’s best races are ready for decision, with the first commencing at 6:58pm local time. The highlight will be the middle-distance championship heats held over from last week. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 10: Beth Dutton (2)
This speed machine has yet to miss a placing in her 10-race career with seven wins, a second and two thirds. She has only raced at Dapto on two occasions for two wins and broke the 17-second mark on both occasions. She has been flying at Richmond in her last couple of runs, and while this non-graded race is a big step up from third and fourth grades, Beth Dutton races like she will take the challenge comfortably. She should prove very hard to beat from the good draw.

Race 5: Fred Flint (2)
This fellow destroyed a decent fifth-grade race two weeks back, winning by eight lengths in quick time with a very quick first section. He should get plenty of favours from the box draw, as he has a slow beginner under him and a dog that loves to just drift up the track drawn outside of him. As is always the case in the 297m races, he will need to nail the start, but if he does and runs a first section like last start, they won’t be running him down.

Race 8: Lady Stomp (1)
This girl has been a model of consistency of late, missing the money only once in her last eight starts. She was a touch unlucky here two weeks ago, just copping a check at a crucial time and still only getting beaten by a nostril. She will enjoy getting down onto the rails, where she has won three from five, and if she begins like she can, Lady Stomp may just lead this for the entire journey. Let’s hope the bookmakers give us a nice price about her again in this tough race.
