Interesting race to kick off the night and I think we can find some value with the well drawn Miss Sueko. Her form reads pretty ordinary of late but she is much better than that and from the pink I think she will get every chance to land on the lure and she is a different chaser when she finds the front. She has a blistering 29.67 PB and a repeat of that effort will see her feature in the finish at odds.
Queen Esther is ultra reliable and she loves racing over this track and trip. She recently cracked the 100k mark in prize money and she showed that she is still capable of matching it with the best. The draw doesn't help but she has speed to burn and she should put herself in to contention early.
Cosmic Angel is capable of just about anything but he can be very hard to follow, if he can step away cleanly he should find the rail early and he can then make a big impact.
Kiss The Hawk rounds out the chances, he has a good record here and he is drawn to be thereabouts.
Top Four: 8 – 6 – 4 – 1

There are a few highly promising types in this event and I think the box draw is going to play a major role. Martin Clegg has the good draw and he has been smartly placed in his only two tries here. He should have enough speed to hold them out at the first bend and when out on his own he is capable of reeling off impressive sectionals.
Zipping Eastwood has scored some dazzling wins in his brief career to date and he musters speed at a great rate. Two starts back he found a heap of bother in the run but he still hit the line hard and went down narrowly in fast time here, he is suited to the wide draw and with an ounce of luck he will be in the finish.
Like his kennelmate, Zipping Saxon has also scored some blistering wins in his career and he must also be respected. I would prefer him drawn closer to the inside but he is far too good to totally dismiss.
Ikaku Bale rounds out the chances, he is an exciting Victorian sprinter who should atone for his luckless effort here last week.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 8 – 4

Kerrigan Bale is presently racing in explosive fashion and if she steps on terms with the rest of the field I can't see them getting past her. Last week she flew through the first marker in a sizzling 5.40 and a repeat of that effort would see her hold them out again. Her overall time of 29.81 was the fastest of the night and it's really hard to see her missing out on making next week's rich final.
Mepunga Treasure was far from disgraced in her heat effort here last week and she should run a solid race again, she should get a nice sit behind the red early and a top three finish is on the cards.
Jingjing is a promising speedster and she will continue to improve with more racing, I think she will find this beyond her but she should be a factor in better races in the coming months.
Polly Bale has been racing in good style of late and she will be very strong in the run home, she got held up at a crucial time in her heat and it was her first look at the track, so i would expect her to find a fair bit on that run.
Humming Birdhill is another talented Victorian and she can show smart early speed in her races, she will need to step cleanly to cross but if she does she should put herself into contention.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Kerrigan Bale with Sportingbet
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,3,4 ($3 for 100%)

Winsome Mission is an explosive talent and he looks well placed in the wide draw. With the eight being a notoriously slow beginner and the six being a keen railer, he should get a clear run in the first 50m and that should allow him to swoop into the lead at the first bend. He was the most impressive heat winner from last week and he only needs a clear passage in the early stages to score.
His kennelmate Winsome Prince appears to be the main danger, he was luckless in his heat last week and with a better getaway tonight he should make a strong bid for victory. He has won 14 of 17 overall and four starts back he set the track alight here with a brilliant 29.72 win.
Dyna Tiber is a gun Victorian sprinter and he has the draw to feature, he was narrowly beaten in his heat and he should have derived a lot of benefit from that run.
Rare Pearl rounds out the chances, he is a big talent but he is still learning to race and he will need some luck in running.
Top Four: 7 – 4 – 1 – 6

Weblec Belle has not won in her past six starts and she has been a tad disappointing. Last week she was slow to begin but she managed to hit the line strongly and she caught my eye when placed in her heat. From the red I am expecting her to ping the lids and land on the bunny and if she can hold the lead at the first bend she will prove almost impossible to reel in.
Assertive Bella has excelled since coming to NSW and she was a recent finalist in the Group One Paws Of Thunder. From the two box she should be able to rail into a prominent position early and if she can settle in the top two she will prove hard to hold out.
Spring Leaf is another Paws finalist and she smashed a handy lineup here last week when scoring in 29.91, she will need some luck at the first bend but if she gets it she will be right in the mix.
Kurmond Goddess could be the value in the event, she races well here and her recent efforts have been much better than they look on paper.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:

Fernando Bale is an absolute speed demon and from the red he should lead from go to whoa. Last week he absolute shanghaied out and went past the post the first time in a breathtaking 5.30, I'm not expecting him to go that again tonight but if he gets within a length and half of that run he will hold them out and eventually get the cash.
Jumble has a great record here and he can show explosive speed soon after box rise, he didn't have a lot of luck in his heat last week and I am expecting an improved performance tonight.
Whittaker has won four of eight here and he recently qualified for the Group One Paws Final, he is poorly drawn out wide but if he can work across slowly he should be able to settle into a fairly prominent position mid race.
Dark Vito is a classy Tasmanian chaser and he should have derived a lot of benefit from his debut run here last week.
Top Four: 1 – 5 – 7 – 3

Win bet on Fernando Bale with Sportingbet

Zipping Abby is an absolute star in the making and she is drawn to get a great sit behind the speedy Megan Keeping. Last week she scored a strong 30.06 heat win but she has also scored here previously in a sizzling 29.66 and 29.74. With the speed underneath she should get a clear run early and she should be able to put an explosive time on the board.
Megan Keeping flew early in her great 30.04 heat win last week and she would have derived a lot of benefit from that run as it was her first try over 500m for quite some time. I still dont think she can run a genuine 500m but the way she runs the first 400m means that she will always be in contention as they turn for home.
Jayney Bale could be the value in the event, she was just average in her heat but she has scored some top Metro wins in Victoria and if she found her best form she is more than capable of matching it with these.
Zipping Midge rounds out the chances, she has turned in two great placings here of late and she is going from strength to strength.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 8 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Zipping Abby with Sportingbet

This is the toughest race on the card and there are numerous chances. I have noticed that some agencies have the red at $12 in early markets and that is ridiculous overs. Talent wise, he has this field covered and although he is better suited to a wider draw, he may actually begin better from the red as he will sight the lure earlier. If he can get anywhere near his explosive 29.61 PB here he will prove extremely hard to hold out at nice odds.
Bad Boy Sniper is another who is well over the odds, he is currently quoted at the $5 mark and those odds are mind blowing considering that two runs back he won here in a scorching 29.54. Tonight he has no speed drawn on his outside and he should follow the speedy Prescribe across in the run to the first turn.
I'm a huge fan of Dyna Yemen and I would love to see him show his best tonight, my only concern with him is that he can miss the kick at times and it's hard to give chasers of this calibre a start and beating.
The two Zipping chasers round out the chances, both have enormous talent but Zipping Carter is still learning and may need more time, whilst Zipping Oscar can be slow to begin and he will need a lot of luck in running.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 5 – 6

Bessy Boo is returning to the staying journey and after four runs at Nowra over the 630m journey he should be primed and fully fit. Before dropping back and becoming a classy sprinter, he had won over this journey in a handy 42.42 and he is probably a better chaser this time around. There is still some doubt that he will run the trip but I'm going to give him the nod and say that he will run it out.
Smooth Number has been taking on some classy stayers of late and he is drawn to be in a prominent position throughout, he too isn't overly strong in the run home but this race doesn't have a great amount of depth.
Golden Gate scored a strong 42.52 win here three runs back and he should be respected again, unlike most of his opponents he actually runs a true 720m.
Joane loves racing over this track and trip and she has the speed to cross from the outside, I dont think she will win tonight but she is a must for your exotic bets.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 4 – 8

Smoken Jimmy is an enormous talent and from the red he should get every chance to lead from go to whoa. He has won five of 15 career starts and he has posted some ridiculously fast times in those wins. If he lands on the bunny he should get near his 29.62 PB and that will see him win with ease.
Cawbourne Kayono has recorded two solid placings here of late and he should settle on the speed. He isn't overly strong but, outside of the red, this race isn't very strong.
Jack Kade must lead to win his races and if the red misses away he may find the lead and he could give a great sight at nice odds.
Gilgamesh rounds out the hopes, she was a slick 29.90 winner here in early December and she has enough early speed to put herself in contention as they negotiate the first turn.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Smoken Jimmy with Sportingbet
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,3,7 ($3 for 100%)
