Greyhound Betting Tips For Friday 23rd August 2013
There's only day to go until the action kicks of at the Meadows with the final of the National Sprint and National Distance Championship. Both races are quite difficult and I will be doing my best here today, to try to build a bank for tomorrow night.
Ipswich Greyhounds Race 8 Box 3 Are Ate 6.15pm
It's not a great day to be betting here at Ipswich but I've hopefully found something worth putting a little on. There's only a couple of chances in this race and they are boxes 1,2,3. These 3 should hold the lead rounding the first turn and will look to fight the finish out. If Are Ate can ping and clear Hastings, both him and Spring Colarado will turn this into a drag race early. Now Are Ate does have a a motor but isn't the toughest of runners and he will need to find the lead early on and be allowed to roll along on the bunny. If he can, and he finds the front without too much work he can win this and run around the 30.90 mark. In a tough race he's worth an eachway tickets
Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 4 Box 1 Lachlan Bomber 8.19pm
This bloke looks a special. He's got high speed and is a highly talented runner. Box 1 is perfect and he should burn through on the inside of theses early on. He does find the 500 a test at the moment but I have no doubt he'll improve with age. He's had the one run here but he never found the bunny and had to work really hard in the run. From the cherry here tonight he'll get a really soft run and will get the chance to burn along on the bunny from the red box against these he looks the one.
Geelong Greyhounds Race 8 Box 5 Proven Impala 9.27pm
I could of found and easier race then this but I think Proven Impala is a special. I know this is a star studied field and there's plenty of hopes but I'm quite keen on the chances of here because she pings and goes. If she leads which I think she will they won't catch her. Now the big question is Boris Fields, he's got a bigger motor then Proven Impala but slow beginnings cost him. He'll either have one or two things will happen to him. He'll get buried and that will end his chances, or he'll get a sweet run through and charge out after the leader. Proven Impale should lead and even money will be about. Stick with her.
Mandurah Greyhounds Race 8 Box 5 Shakina 8.57pm W.A time
A big drop in grade here for the former Queenslander and she should just put these away here tonight with no problem. She's got plenty of early toe, and should lead from start to finish. She has a best time of 27.78 and if she pings and goes she should better that here tonight. She won't get a better chance then tonight and at $2.50-$3.00; she's certainly worth the punt.
