Addington greyhound tips & value bets | Thursday, May 25
Thursday greyhound racing in New Zealand returns to Addington for the track's usual high-grade meeting with 12 races carded. The first race begins at 4:07pm (NZDT).
Best Bet: Nail It (Race 3)
We're sticking with Nail It as our best bet of the night after he produced a strong finish to pick up third place late last week. He had to clear some traffic around the first bend and then ran some nice sectionals to finish off his race. The key today is that he has notorious slow trappers to his inside and out, which should allow him all the space he needs in the rush to the first corner and if as we expect, he can find the top then it really should be the end of the penny section.

Next Best Bet: Levi Bale (Race 4)
Levi Bale continued his hot run of recent form when travelling down to Invercargill last week and proving to be too strong over 390 metres when leading all the way. He had broken the 17 second mark here in three winning efforts prior to that last effort and in his current form he should be winning again. His only danger should be the vastly improved Fahey runner in Hunch.

Best Value Bet: Know Keeper (Race 7)
This race is shaping up as a mouth watering contest with the two best stayers in the land going head to head again in the shape of Know Keeper and Goldstar Carlito. The pair have run the quinella in their last three clashes and on each occasion Know Keeper has had to bow the better dog on the night and maybe passing the torch on to his younger rival. Know Keeper has started favourite over his main rival in his last two runs but it is unlikely to be the case this evening but with them both drawing along side each other we feel this is Know Keeper's best chance to turn the tables.
