Dapto greyhound preview, quaddie tips & top odds | Thursday, 19/10
The phenomenon that is Thursday night at the Dapto Dogs is ready to go again this Thursday night with 12 quality races set down on the program, with the first race set to kick off at 6:52pm local time. There are some quality races over all of Dapto's distances, and as always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 7: Bandit Jane (4)
This girl took on the Group 2 Sydney Cup at her latest effort over 720m and that was just too tough for her. Back to her beloved 600m at Dapto, where she is the only greyhound to ever go under the 34-second mark. She holds the current track record at 33.99 seconds. She went 34.05 seconds here two starts back, which shows what sort of form she is still in and just needs a touch of luck early. She should get the early room she needs tonight with slow beginners drawn either side of her, and if she finds the front again, it will be interesting to see what time she can run.

Race 5: Roseberry Hustler (5)
This bloke is an outstanding sprinter, having won 21 of his 43 races and having another 13 placings to boot. He really loves it here at Dapto, where he has won 12 of 16 races and has a couple of placings as well. When you have the sort of speed this boy possesses, boxes really don't matter that much, but box five is awkward none-the-less in a quality open-grade race. He has won four from seven from box five and will only need to step away quickly and cleanly to add to his impressive record at this circuit.

Race 10: Speedy Ethics (2)
Forget this girl who went around last week when she began only moderately and then got completely knocked out of the race. She loves being drawn down nearer the fence, and box two should help in this race with a usually moderate beginner underneath her. Has a good enough record with three wins from just eight starts here. Her first section is fast enough to lead this with a clean getaway. She just needs to step away cleanly and use the inside draw to her advantage, and she will give you great sight at good value.
