Greyhound Betting Tips For Monday 11th March 2013

We only nominated 4 selections for yesterday's card with 2 winners, a 3rd placing and Dale Bale finishing unplaced.

Yesterday's Results: Euroa Katerina – Winner $1.60, Crump – Winner $1.50, Dignified Lad – 3rd $1.80, Dale Bale – Unplaced. Hopefully tonight we can turn it all around and find a few winners, and make it a profitable night for you all.

I have been unable to find a long shot for tonights card, but patience is the key, and no doubt more will pop up, like “Gitcha Money On” who paid $12.60when we tipped him at two weeks ago. He also Won again on at Casino at huge odds of $16.00 so hopefully you kept following him.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 9 Box 2 Permitted 8.20 pm QLD time

The former Queenslander Permitted, has run two blinders since coming over to S.A, both times finishing second. He was quite a handy performer over in the sunshine state, but appears as if he will no doubt reach top grad here in S.A. Owned by the Velocity Lodge Partners, the son of Path To Power has drawn very nicely in box 2 here tonight. The concern is Niamh Premier, although she has won from box 1, in her best PB 30.05, I'm inclined to believe she much prefers it out wide and she may bring Permitted undone here in this. She jumps quite well but tends too drift off around the first turn and may take Permitted with her. Best case scenario is, Permitted begins slowly and hugs the rail around the first turn. I have no doubt he can go under 30.00 with the right run, and with a little luck initially he may just tonight. He needs to position up behind the early leaders and unwind in the back half of the race; 3rd or 4th will be an ideal position for him to land. Don't jump off this bloke win, loose, or draw here tonight, he's going to win plenty here in S.A and will no doubt, enjoy the longer distance also. Big chance if given the right run. Each way

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 2, Blackjack Niro 6.43 pm QLD time

A maiden race here and they can often throw up good value, if you have done your home work. I believe I have here, and this bloke should be winning this tonight. He has drawn nicely in box 2 and should be in front from the get go. I'm a punter and my often reflect that; and this is honestly one of the worst maiden fields I've seen. I highly doubt any of these will be competitive, outside maiden class. Blackjack Niro, is by far the best of this lot. Serious Taj, also looks to be of similar standard to the former and the rest, well I wish them all the best in the future. Blackjack Niro, has the pace to lead and doesn't go to bad for the first two sections of the race. He should ping and find himself in front of all of these early, and I highly doubt they have the ability to run him down. Serious Taj, appears the only danger, but may give away to much start here. If he can stay in touch early, with Blackjack Niro, he will certainly be charging late and looks the only danger in this. This is the son of Where's Pedro chance to win his maiden. If he fails tonight, I won't be selecting him again.

Bulli Greyhounds, Race 3 Box 1 Tyronimo, 7.53pm NSW time

Yes yes yes yes yes, the opposite to what Gus Gould, of Nrl fame would say. Tyronimo, should have no trouble winning this tonight. He has drawn perfectly in box 1 and will start favourite. His last two runs at , have been brilliant, and it will take a mighty effort, to knock him off here tonight. He has a very quick PB of 26.44, and that would generally win most races on the card. He may be able to go a little quicker tonight, and no excuses should be offered up if he gets beat. The only possible danger if there is one, appears to be the speedy Osteria Mozza, who has good early toe and should cart the favourite along for a portion of the journey. If he is going to knock of the fav he will have to produce and effort far above his form current form. Tyronimo, a great bet here tonight.

Launceston Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 1 Paper Trail. 8.41 pm QLD time

A rare 720m staying event here and Cheetah Zorro looks the stand out, but she may be silly odds and Paper Trail is the way to go here. Strictly a place bet only, but she looks to be the main danger to the fav. She has drawn perfectly in box 1 and has been racing well of late. She was blocked for a run last start and may have finished closer. She actually has the quickest PB of all of these, but Cheetah Zorro is in fine form and will take a power of beating. Paper Trail should be about $1.60 a place and at those odds I suggest getting stuck in. She should land in the first 3 and I'd be surprised to see her miss a place from the rails box here. Place Bet Only.

Shepparton Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 6 Omar Gee, 8.32pm Vic time

This is the 3rd time I've tipped this bloke, and surely tonight he wins here. He has a huge motor and should relish the small field and easier opposition here tonight. A 29.76 Meadows winner recently and I doubt any of these can get down to that. He only needs a safe start and clear passage to put pay to these. Box 6 won't worry him and he should be winning this. The super Talented Soda boy returns here and he looks the main danger. I'm unaware how he's going of late, but if he's at his best expect him to really put it to Omar Gee. We will stick with the inform chaser in this.

Well there are tonights selections, and I'm confident there are a few nice winners amongst them and we should show a great profit at the end of racing tonight.

Best of Luck.
