Greyhound Betting Tips For Thursday 4th July 2013

Mixed results yesterday, but we hung in there with most selections running a place.

Tonight sees the running of the 1 at , and the local Champ will contest his last race. What a remarkable dogs he’s been, having made 14 finals and what a delight it was too see him make the Channel 9 news, with a story about - well done.

Back to tonight and he’s going to have to produce a career best performance from box 7 to win here tonight. With the red hot favourite Hello Good Bye perfectly boxed in box 1; but I’m sure he’s capable of it.

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 3 box 3 Innisplain Jet 7.22pm

This blokes well over due for a win and won’t get a better chance then tonight. Early on on his career he looked to be a real star in the making with a brilliant 29.82 win, but injury and age have got to him. He’s the fastest dog in the race and looks a great chance from a suitable draw.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Big Daddy Boy, 8.58pm

Best lay bet of the night this bloke. Based on his last start impressive victory over good dogs, he should start favourite; but the impressive win came about in a 5 dog field where he was able to ping straight to the front without traffic. He hates traffic and eases out constantly and that’s all he will face tonight is traffic. Best lay of the night.

Dapto Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 1 Salt Mate Blue, 7.28

This girl races well here and is in good form. She’s a quick beginner who can reel of a pretty good first and second section. From the cherry she should be straight out and on the bunny. Hard to beat.

Hobart Greyhounds Race 5 Box 1 Dark Gladiator, 8.41pm

Perfectly boxed and going great guns at present. Dark Gladiator should lead from start to finish and looks mighty hard to beat here. win races and he’s got the right box to see him hold these out early. Should win.

Sandown Greyhounds Race 10 Box 4 Oomoo 10.12pm

This dog drops a long way back in class here and is racing well enough to lead all the way against this lot. Box 4 is no concern and he should spear straight to the front and take alot of catching.

Best of Luck
