Greyhound Betting Tips Thursday 6th February
Albion park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Benarkin, 10.11pm
Tonight's Albion park feature race is the Group 3 Big Dog cup. Benarkin for trainer Tony Brett is my on top selection after drawing perfectly in box one. There's multiple winning chances in this, with Cakes and Pies, Late Angel Lee, Spirited Flame and Bellagio lad. Benarkin's performance was huge here last week after drawing off the track and fighting his way across to the rails. He's got an excellent PB here over the trip and relishes this distance.
He should start at odds of $5.00 here tonight and at that price he looks a genuine chance.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Encosta Kahn, 8.58pm
Big chance here given to what appears to be a graded certainty in Encosta Kahn. He's used to racing far better opposition and generally begins well. He's quite strong and should have no trouble finding the top here tonight. Once in front he will take a power of beating. Senni Tony appears the danger after drawing perfectly on box one. He's slow early but really rattles in the mid to late stages of the race. With luck he could be a real threat to Encosta Kahn.
Dapto Greyhounds Race 6 Box 8 Misty Peal, 9.14pm
Misty Peal will get every chance here tonight to ping and go from the outside box. She's been knocking on the door and racing quite well of recent times. This race is perfect for her, as she has one of the quickest PB's in the race and can repeat that if she finds the lure from the get go. Cool Duke is the main danger, he's drawn perfect and is racing well. He should get the run of the race from box one, and will play a major part in this.
Hobart Greyhounds Race 6 Box 7 Direct Current, 9.25pm
This fellow could be a risk in this, but he does have a motor and will only need luck to win. He only began fairly last week, but showed top mid race acceleration and burnt away from his rivals. He was aided by box one, and won't be awarded the same luxury tonight. He will need a bit of luck, but with clear galloping room he looks a real threat. Sonorous, last weeks $10.00 winner, is the main danger, even though he's dropping right back on distance. He's got a great PB here, and has drawn perfectly. He only needs to step away and hang on to them early to pose a massive threat of winning.
These two dogs look the likely pair and should run the quinella.
Sandown Greyhounds Race 4 Box 6, Pure Grand Señor, 8.08pm
Back this fellow at your own risk here, as he's been very disappointing of late. He's a very quick beginner, but has been throwing the towel in after 100 meters recently and that's a huge worry. But he has the speed to lead these and I have no doubt, he'll run away with one again soon. Question is will it be tonight.
If he starts at odds of $6.00 or more he's worth backing here in this field. But beware he's been performing poorly of late.
Swans Twelve could be be the one if he's able to gain clear running up the inside here early.
