WHILE Sunday is typically a quieter day for greyhound racing, there is still plenty of quality chasing action happening around the country. To help find you a winner, Australian Racing Greyhound‘s Brad Bugeja has studied the form to bring you today’s best bets.
Classy speedster who has been smartly placed in her past two starts over this journey. She was beaten by a very talented chaser here last time out and if she finds the front again tonight I can’t see anything reeling her in. There is very little speed drawn around her tonight so at around the $2.20 mark with William Hill she appears to be a good bet.
Her form doesn’t read too well at present but she has been taking on much stronger company of late and from a favourable draw today I’m expecting a much better showing. She isn’t a brilliant beginner but there is no speed at all in boxes two, three and four, so with a clean getaway she should be able to push through and hold a top two spot at the first bend. She should be each way odds and she could be a great place bet.
Very strong chaser who has been racing well without winning of late and he looks suited in this event, he will get back early on but he will be able to find the rail without any trouble and he should make a strong move mid race, he should be double figure odds and he is worth an each way ticket.
Sale Race 5: 1 to rove with 2,3,7
Lister Bale is absolutely flying and he appears to be a moral off the red draw, the two and three should be able to trail through and get a nice sit on the leader, whilst the seven races well at this track and he is suited to a wide draw.
Gawler Race 7: 5/4,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
Leg 1: 1 – Leg 2: 2,3,7,8 – Leg 3: 1,4,5,7,8 – Leg 4: 1,3,4,5,6
$100 for 100%
