Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 8: Genghis Kahn To Place $3
Genghis Kahn is ideally drawn out wide and he has been racing in good style of late. He is taking on some handy competitors tonight but he should be able to get out into some open space mid race and he is quite strong in the run to the line. There are quite a few weak front runners in this event, so he should be able to pick them off late in the race and at $3 with Bet365 he is well over the odds.
Leg 2 – Shepparton – Race 8: Cadence Bale To Place $2.10
Cadence Bale is much better than her recent form suggests and from the red draw she should get every chance to figure in the finish. She is taking on a good one in Hail Storming but she is quite strong in the closing stages of her races and from the red she should be able to settle a little closer to the speed than normal. The two dog will also move right at box rise, so that should work in her favour. The $2.10 on offer is a good price, so I suggest you take the odds early as I would expect it trim up late.
Leg 3 – Nowra – Race 8: Gold Shaft To Place $3.25
Gold Shaft doesn't appear to have great form but he has come up with the good draw and he did turn in a great performance when placed here last week. I'm expecting the two and three to find the early lead but that should allow him to drop in behind for a nice sit and with a clear passage mid race he will be right there at the end. He is big odds as he is taking on some smart types but he is an improving type and he has the talent to measure up.
