Rockhampton greyhound tips & quaddie | Wednesday, September 20
Rockhampton is set to host a 12-race program on Wednesday night from 6:52pm local time. The meeting is headlined by two QGOLD heats over the 407m for open-class dogs, featuring the likes of Mark Sure Can, More Peaches and Pereira. The first four in each heat will line up in next Wednesday’s final.
Race 3: Emerald Swift (7)
This daughter of Hooked On Scotch started her career with a bang, winning on debut and at start number three. Since then, it’s been a lean run with only three placings from her next 13 starts. Despite this, she has struck form of late, running some good races behind a few smart types including Mark Sure Can and Grand Riku. She has only had one start from box seven for a win and draws well with Johnny Fernando to her outside, unlikely to hinder her chances early. Expect her to cross, find the front and prove hard to run down.

Race 9: Genius You (7)
This son of Barcia Bale has been racing consistently over the shorter distances and should appreciate the rise to 510m. Jumping from box five last week, Genius You speared the lids to lead Little Spyro and was left flat-footed mid-race before coming again strongly on the line. He has had six starts over track and trip for one win, with a personal best time of 30.47. He appears well drawn in box seven with two inside boxes vacant and Shell And Sea unlikely to give him grief heading into that first turn.

Race 11: We Are Kings (2)
This son of Feral Franky brought solid New South Wales provincial form to Rockhampton and started his new life with Darren Taylor on a winning note with an eye-catching display over the 407m. Since then, he has raced without much luck and has had frequent absences with injury. He returned off a month layoff with a fast-finishing second behind Daniher Hayze, followed up with a luckless effort 11 days later. He lines up from a low draw and with speed expected either side of him from Flexibility and Power Maid, both recently beginning well. If this occurs once more, We Are Kings will be provided the perfect cart into the race.
