Wentworth Park Saturday greyhound tips | September 2, 2023
With limited nominations as the state starts to look towards the Million Dollar Chase, there are 10 races set down for Wentworth Park this Saturday night. The program is highlighted by a quality third/fourth-grade race and some nice young dogs in some restricted class races. As always, we will try to find you a winner or two.
Race 8: My Hepburn (3)
This girl has been flying up north recently. She recorded three best-of-night results in top-grade fields before going down narrowly last time out. She has already won two races at headquarters and has broken 30 seconds here. She has a win and a second from three attempts in the white rug, and if she shows the sort of early pace she has been showing up north, she will lead this race for a long way.

Race 4: Code Blue Tom (3)
This boy has been a model of consistency, finishing no worse than fourth in his last 10 starts. He also has a couple of handy wins here in that stretch, his best in 30 seconds dead. With none of his rivals having won at Wentworth Park, he has been well placed in this restricted-grade race. He is not the quickest beginner but musters pace quickly once he gets balanced up, and as his rivals are 0 for 32 between them, he should be adding another win to the tally.

Race 10: Stolen Jade (8)
This girl has been holding her northern form nicely of late, including a good win here in 30.15 on August 23. None of the runners in this race have broken the 30-second mark, so she could just carve across the face of the field and stack them up while she races away with the win. The box is not great, with her being none from five in the pink, but in an average fifth-grade race, she will represent value and pace – and that's a winning combination.
