Wentworth Park Saturday tips & quaddie | October 7, 2023
This Saturday night at Wentworth Park there are 10 races to be decided, with the first kicking off at 6:24pm local time. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will look over the form and try to find you a winner or two.
Race 2: Midnight Spritz (7)
After a slashing 29.7 win here two starts back, this girl was given an opportunity in the Million Dollar Chase city qualifiers. It was her first real miss, and now she has been bought back to contest this Listed race against her own age group. There is not much early pace in the race, and it looks as though she or the pink dog will be the leader. If she can hold the pink in the run to the first turn, she may improve on her 29.7 personal best.

Race 2 –
Form: 2118 | Career: 6: 3-1-0 | Trainer: Jodie Lord
Race 4: Overflow Beau (1)
This boy has really worked out what it is all about, running his last two around this track in 29.6. He will appreciate the inside box, which he hasn’t had since he blitzed a good field at Bulli by seven lengths in the best time of the day. The fact he was turned sideways here at his last start and still ran 29.6 shows you just how good he is. He will get the room he needs early as the two will stay up the track, and you can expect him to charge through, lead, and race away with a good heat win.

Race 8: Fear The Dragon (8)
This boy has only had the two career starts, so stick with him. He ran the best time of the day on his debut and then backed that up with a time that was a length outside the best of the day. He steps up massively in class for this but is in astute hands, and as both his runs have been on the bigger one-turn Maitland track, box eight should suit. With several winning chances in the race, this guy is worth a play at solid odds with the top greyhound bookmakers.
