Brett Lee Prodigies Continue Red Hot Form

's hot litter out of x Kiacatoo Pearl, continued their sizzling run of form with shaving .13 seconds off the 450metre on Monday (October 10).

A litter brother to Maiden winner Gundabooka, and 530 metre track recorder holder Moonshine Sally, Buck Fever cemented his own piece of history in recording the 25.47, 10 ¾ length victory.

The win comes just three months after trained Rima set the 450 metre record at 25.60.

Monday's racing day started poorly for Pringle with Moonshine Sally falling in the second event, after struggling to cross the field from box 8.

The short priced favourite, Moonshine Sally managed to return to her feet and finish the event with Pringle expecting her to feel a bit sore in the coming days.

“That's racing, but she is ok which is the main thing,” Pringle said following the event.

“Her confidence is still there she still wanted to go back on the track after I washed her down and then again going to the car so that is a positive sign.”

Things were soon redeemed within the camp with Buck Fever scoring an impressive victory in the 450 maiden.

The black dog got away from the boxes only moderately, however was able to push under early leader Grovebrook King through the pen before cutting loose on the bunny.

“We think he will find further, his run home was unreal and hopefully he will continue in this fashion over more ground,” Pringle said.

Pringle is expected to target the forth coming Vic Peters Classic at with both Buck Fever, Moonshine Sally and Gundabooka.
