Corless Crazy brings up 28th career win at Richmond
Corless Crazy stepped out for his 118th start and served up a strong run to get the win at Richmond on Wednesday night.
In the masters race over the 320m journey, the Tayt Corless-trained chaser started at $2.90 with online bookmakers.
On box rise, he got out well to sit third before passing between the lead pair of race favourite Hardaway Ranger ($2.40) and Cruise Or Lose ($21).
Once he hit the lead, he turned the bend to run on and win by three and a half lengths in front of Wyndsor Rose ($15) and Doonside Andy ($8).
He ran the trip in a time of 18.40 and made it three straight wins.

Trainer Corless was happy with the performance from his chaser.
“So impressed with his run last night,” he said.
“After the jump I was just hoping he could hold the seven (Hardaway Ranger) out.
“He did exactly that but then got jammed up in between the three (Count On Me) and the eight (Wyndsor Rose).
“Turns out he didn’t like it there, so he just did what he does and burned through to the lead.
“He seems to be racing well once a week over the shorts.
“As long as he is happy and healthy, we will continue on with that.
“We will aim him for next Wednesday in the masters.”
The Keybow x Contezza Fonic dog is a proven chaser with 28 wins and 40 placings from his 118 career starts.
