Both Dyna Tron and Dyna Bert are brindled dogs by Collision from top producer Gold Rush Bale and are from the same litter.
They beat home another local dog, Shereen Bale ($4.00), whose trainer Graeme Bate was shooting for his ninth Geelong Cup.
An ecstatic Tom Dailly said after the race: “Dyna Tron deserved the win because he was always thereabouts.”
He added that Dyna Tron, a former Geelong track record holder, was a faster dog than Dyna Bert.
Owner Brendan Wheeler had a previous Geelong Cup win three years ago with Gripen Bale.
After the placed runners the field finished in the following order 4th Marbro Man ($8.00), 5th Flash Drive ($4.80), 6th Stagger ($10.60) 7th Mystic Apple ($19.80) and Oh Watta Night ($10.40fav).
Dyna Tron is a Red Brindle dog whelped February 2009 by Collision from Gold Rush Bale (Lansley Bale x Jindara Bale) he has raced 40 times for 19 wins and nine placings with his win in the Geelong Cup the $40,000 first prize took his current stake earnings to $107,580.
