Dundee Osprey claims 2016 Harrison-Dawson

has produced the biggest run of his career to capture the 1 Harrison-Dawson (515m) at Park on Thursday night.

Stepping fairly from box two, the trained greyhound was able to slip into third spot as early leaders One For Me (box one) and (box eight) went stride for stride in the run to the first turn.

Heading down the back and the 35kg heavyweight hooked to the outside as the leaders packed tight, circling them to assume the lead around the home turn and surging clear to score by 3.41 lengths in 29.25.

One For Me stuck on well to finish second, with race favourite Blazin' Bomber running on to fill the trifecta back in third.

Sent to the boxes at $25, it was the ninth career victory at start 23 for the son of and Dundee Rose, with the lucrative winner's taking his career earnings above $134,000.

The win was also the first for Scott-Smith, who bred, owns and trains the black dog from his Pakenham South property.
