Finn’s Gun Maiden Fires Up Laurie Healion Memorial Finals

Boom youngster, Winsome Gun, confirmed his favouritism for the $20,000 to the winner Laurie Healion Memorial Final at next with another stellar display in the second round of the prestigious series.

Jumping from box eight, the son of dual Australian Sire of the Year, and Winsome Silver, completely outclassed his rivals, running a sensational 29.47 for the 515 metres, the fastest run so far in the series.

Trained by Minnie and Jinn Finn, Winsome Gun has firmed even further after drawing box one in the final, but the $20,000 winner's cheque won't has be handed over with a challenge.

Quality Northern Rivers galloper, Bralyn Midge, trained by Brad Northfield, showed he'll be a real force in next week's final by once again running sizzling early sectionals on his way to an impressive three and a half length victory in a slick 29.59.

A son of winner, and multiple winning bitch Bralyn Maisie, Bralyn Midge displayed the same blinding early speed that his winning mother was famous for.

Bralyn Midge is from an exception litter and his brother, Bralyn County is shooting for nine out of nine at tonight (Saturday).

The other semi-finals winners were Vancouver Kiss in 29.78 and Bobby Clavering in 29.98.
